Salt wind, thin soil, hard sun. Coastal sites punish ordinary landscaping. We grow plants that hold their ground.

Vetiver, the workhorse. Known locally as khus-khus grass, vetiver anchors our coastal range for good reason. Its roots drive metres deep, binding soil, stabilising slopes and cutting erosion where it starts. For new builds, slope protection or site rehabilitation, it is a proven, low-cost, nature-based solution, and a practical first step before anything else goes in the ground.

Alongside vetiver, we grow a range of salt-tolerant trees and plants on site at the Reserve, selected for durability and low maintenance in high-exposure locations. They're well suited to resorts, public spaces and any project that needs reliable performance near the sea, without constant replanting and irrigation costs.

Browse fruit trees, culinary herbs, flowering and ornamental plants. Our team knows what works where. Tell us about your space, a shaded patio, a salty coastal garden, a sunny office corner, and we'll help you find plants that will actually flourish there.

Make a morning of it. Wander the nursery at your own pace. Leave with a little of the Reserve's regenerative spirit rooted at home.

Visit the nursery at Walkers Reserve. Open Monday to Saturday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Coconut water, the hard way.

Our nuts are picked freestyle, no spikes, no rigs, the way it's been done for generations. It's slower and it takes real skill, but it leaves the trees unscarred and healthy for the next harvest.

From there, everything is done by hand. Each nut is picked, cut and poured by our Agricultural Specialist, with no water, additives or chemicals at any stage. What reaches you is coconut water exactly as the tree made it.

Take it with you. Buy whole nuts fresh from the Reserve, or bottled water in one litre and personal sizes. Available cold at our retail store, or add it to any hike or tour and have it waiting when you finish.

Serve fresh coconut water at your private event.
