Walks & Hikes

Walks & Hikes

Beyond Barbados’ beautiful beaches lies another side of the island. Wild Atlantic coastline, regenerated wetlands, forests and thriving wildlife reveal a landscape many visitors, and even some Bajans, have yet to discover.

There is more than one way to experience Walkers Reserve. Wander independently with a trail map, join a guided walk that brings the landscape to life, or keep a steady pace on a more active group hike. Each experience takes you through a remarkable former sand quarry now being regenerated into forests, lakes, wetlands, dunes and living habitats.

Choose the pace, level of guidance and kind of experience that suit you. Whichever route you take, you will see a side of Barbados shaped by nature, restoration and the wild Atlantic coast.

Select one of our walks or hikes below to decide which one is right for you.
