Two ways to enter the world of bees
Observe a living hive from our protected Bee Observatory or suit up and accompany a professional beekeeper into the apiary.
Come closer to the world inside the hive.
A honey bee colony is always in motion. Thousands of bees work together, each contributing to the health and survival of the hive. The Bajan Bee Experience gives you two ways to explore this remarkable world.
Choose the Bajan Bee Observatory for a protected, close-up view of a working colony. Your beekeeper will help you understand the activity inside the hive, the roles different bees perform and the importance of pollinators to the landscapes around us.
For a more immersive encounter, choose Suit Up with a Beekeeper. Put on protective clothing and accompany a professional beekeeper into the apiary, where you will see the hives in their natural setting and learn how they are responsibly cared for.
Whichever experience you choose, you will leave with a deeper appreciation for bees, the systems they create and the important role they play in supporting biodiversity and food production. The difference is how you experience the colony.
See inside the hive from a protected viewing space.
Enter our specially designed Bee Observatory for an up-close view of a working honey bee colony. A professional beekeeper will help you follow the movement inside the hive, recognise the roles different bees perform and understand how thousands of individuals work together as one living system.
This is the ideal option for guests who want to see bees closely without wearing protective clothing or entering the apiary.
